    BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER random BSOD

    Hey guys

I've attached all logs and am really fed up of this problem. It is mostly random because it occurs when no usb are connected and also when usb are connected. Sometimes also when adjusting the laptop lid which I'm sure has nothing to do with this.

    All help appreciated

Hello and welcome MUFT mate first of all please follow this
    SYSTEM SPECS
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.
    (pretyped to save time)

Now before ewe go any further have you updated the USB drivers and have you git any USB connected devices.
In your problem devices there is a webcam that is disabled has the software fo it been installed
    Typically the dunp here

    Code:
    BugCheck FE, {8, 6, 5, fffffa8007c9c160}

***** Kernel symbols are WRONG. Please fix symbols to do analysis.

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for USBPORT.SYS
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for USBPORT.SYS
It is usually associated with a Windows update and you could try a system restore back before the trouble began

But the system specs is really firrst cab off the rank please.

I suppose you could try these too after that is done
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html
https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < if necessary include the /f switch and if this does not make any improvement then just run this switch instead /r in the command line as per Option2
Run these in safe mode and the sfc often best run for two to three runs – you can leave out the /r switch in ckdsk if you feel it not necessary

I disabled the cam as it stopped the sudden detection sounds, it has been faulty for a while now. It was a weird problem. When I connect a USB device I get the error sound first then the detection sound which tells me something is wrong with the USB. I have no system restore and honestly this problem has been happening for almost a year now so..

I have run disk check and scannow with no problems detected in the past week. Should I run it again?

I have looked for USB driver updates but didnt know what to look for which is why I ended up here.
    ----------------------------------------

EDIT: Also, I am not able to adjust brightness despite trying different versions of HD 4000 driver.

Hmm well I am having a problem getting any sense out of the Samsung site as I wanted to link the drivers for that machine and all I ma getting is to contact them?? which is really a bit weak.

Have you got link for that machine by any chance if could you post it because the site I get is based in Hong Kong and often sites for other countries let you do different things,

Now what I would have done is to say update the USB drivers for that machine so if you ahe access to them do that first.

The SFC is often best run for three scans try that also.

Can you also look in the Device Manager for any devices that have a yellow triangle against them please.

    I would also run these
    http://www.superantispyware.com/
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If you are running Kaspersky as the main AV then it might need disabling it when trying ADW because it does not like it at times)

Now the HD driver I am assumig you mean the Intel one?? if not then use the top one from here
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81499/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000
Now in your specs too is a reference to AMD Radeon graphics so if the machine which I cannot find specs properly on has a dual graphics system then got to this site and use the auto detect option because there is no driver download for the one in your specs http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

But lets try getting the bug out of the USB stuff fixed first.

sfc came back normal all 4 times. In the end this:
USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off - Windows 7 Help Forums
    solved it.
The brightness problem is still there and I am also not able to play games with my AMD card even though I have installed latest drivers.

Around 4 years old and am using the latest Intel HD driver. Never mind that though, the BSOD happened again. I think it is something with the lid disturbing some hardware inside because at certain positions it is bound to happen almost certainly.
