BlueScreen during Sleep (High performance power plan)

Hello everyone! Please let me know if I'm missing something important, as I'm new to the forum and not the most learned with computers.

I put my computer on sleep overnight and whenever I leave it for a while during the day. I've been doing this since I got it. There weren't any problems until I put it to sleep for a little under 48 hours, and only noticed that it unexpectedly shutdown at 12:50:28 PM on 8/11/2017. This happened two more times as I tried to fix the issue, once at 6:20:51 PM on 8/13/2017, and again at 9:23:41 PM on 8/13/2017. All shutdowns happened during user-prompted sleep.

Before the first shutdown, I was on the balanced power plan, then made changes after to try and avoid the issue. I switched to high performance and changed advanced settings to the following:

Require password on wakeup: Yes
Turn off hard disk after: Never
Javascript Timer Frequency: Maximum Performance
Desktop background settings>Slide show: Available
Wireless Adapter Settings>Power Saving Mode: Maximum Performance
Sleep after: Never / Allow wake timers: Enable
USB selective suspend setting: Disabled
Power button action: Sleep
Sleep button action: Sleep
PCI Express>Link State Power Management: Off
Minimum processor state: 100%
System cooling policy: Active
Maximum processor state: 100%
Turn off display after: Never
When sharing media: Prevent idling to sleep
When playing video: Optimize video quality
This didn't really help. Using the Event Viewer, I can confirm that I put my computer to sleep more than these three times the past 3 days, and not every sleep state resulted in a BSoD. I would like to fix this as soon as possible, since sleep mode is supposed to be a convenience for leaving work to be resumed the next morning, a luxury I'd like to keep for this coming semester!

I viewed the details for the most recent unexpected shutdown, they're listed below:

PC Life and High Performance Power Plan
1.Can using the high performance power plan shorten the life of a computer? Or does it just use more energy? 2.Does it affect HDD performance and life?

Power plan Balance Vs. High Performance.
I have Intel i5 2500K CPU. When Windows runs a game in Balance mode, I get either 1605 Mhz or between 3300 and 3600. When I use High Performance, it goes up to 3700. Does it make any difference in performance? Also, what else is accelerated? Is High Performance worth it?
