BSOD even after factory reset 0x00000116

    Hi.

I need help on my dell window 7 laptop. I was streaming yesterday and suddenly my laptop reboot and shows a blue screen. It says:

    "Technical information:

    ***STOP: 0x00000116 (0xFFFFFA8007CB6010, 0xFFFFF880042DB8F0, 0X0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002)

    ***. atikmpag.sys - Address FFFFG880042DB8F0 base at FFFFF880042D40000, DateStamp 4edd79fe"

I tried googling the solution to my problem, it says to uninstall my video configuration from my device manager and try to install it back. Yes, i uninstall as instructed. Then, i tried to find the same video driver(?) From dell. But it really took long time to download (sloww internet connection) . Therefore I cancelled the download and i factory reset my laptop. And now, it keeps on rebooting and BSOD appear. I tried to access by using safe mode, but cannot as i need to complete my installation since i factory reset it.

Tried to repair computer and the startup repair. None of them work. Restore? Also didnt work. So do the safe mode. I really hope there's someone who can help me with my problem. Fyi, i did not have any dvd / cd for the restore thingy. Wish you guys could help me.

    How old is the laptop?
    What model is your laptop?

What do you get when trying to use a restore point, reset the system and boot to safe mode?

I bought this laptop since 2012. It is Dell Inspiron N4050.

When i try to boot after safe mode, the screen appear "setup is preparing your computer for first use." Then few seconds later, pop up screen "windows cannot complete installation in safe mode. To continue installing windows, restart the computer." Then, when i restart, the BSOD screen shows again.

I already factory reset my laptop, but the BSOD is still there. And i cannot even use safe mode.

When i tried to use the system recovery option ( system restore) , it says that "no restore points have been created on your computer's system drive. To create a restore point open system protection. "

Do i have a chance that my laptop can recover? Or should i just dump this one and buy a new one?

Please answer my question, how far did the factory reset come?

While I ask questions to get a clear point at what happened, I would suggest to run a diagnostics test.
Knowing what happened helps in identifying the issue.

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

       Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

I already factory reset my laptop. It was a success. However, I'm stuck in the installation part. I cannot successfully install the setup since I cannot boot my laptop with both normally and safe mode. Cuz if i start normally, i got stuck at the BSOD screen again.

I'm testing the RAM now. Currently 42%. Will update you once finish.

Make sure to read my questions and suggestions carefully.

A factory reset is not only deleting everything, but also reinstalling everything. As you described it, it did not finish.

42%? Make sure to complete 8+ passes.

Yes, it did not finish reinstalling.

Anyway, i've let the Memtest86+ run for 53hours now with 42 passes. And ZERO errors. What should i do next? Should i wait for it to run some more?
