I have an Acer desktop with a nVidia GEforce 6150se nForce 430 driver that crashed suddenly today
and now I can't restart my computer without having to go into safemode otherwise it continually crashes
with this error information:

Run Furmark to test your GPU. Furmark tutorial

Run Furmark for around 30 minutes

warning   Warning
Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high

Make a photo of the result and post it.

You could remove your graphics card and plug your monitor into the onboard video port. If this fixes it, then the problem is either with your video driver or your graphics card.

It sounds like it is the graphics card, not the video driver.

You could reinstall the video driver while in Safe Mode with Networking, or perhaps put an older version of the video driver. If that fixes it, then the problem was with the driver.
