    win7 netbook bsod help please

Novice here but will try and explain my problem the best i can and hope for some help!
Im on a samsung nc10 netbook that come with xp. I have installed windows 7 a few weeks ago, installed all drivers and updated the firmware to the win 7 ones on the samsung website. I have been relativey happy with it except it runs slow compared to xp when i expected it to be faster.

well yesterday out of the blue, the laptop crashed. it wouldnt do anything so i had to turn the power off. when i turned it back on i was just met by a black screen. turned it off and left it for half hour and then turned it back on. It booted up with the option for safe mode etc. thought i would run it in safe mode and then run virus checker. Did that but after a minute the laptop bluescreened and then rebooted.
I left it to my other half last night who opened it up as he reckons it might have over heated due to dust etc. He says other than a bit of dust and a lot of CPU paste everything looked fine.

Today, The laptop stays on when it nots doing anything but as soon as you start loading programs etc. after a few minutes it bluescreens. Ive managed to write one message down but the screen doesnt stay on very long before re-booting. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. It doesnt make any sense to me other than the driver bit so im assuming the problem might be down to a driver? Cant understand how as its been working for weeks.

Any ideas? if not i will just try re-instlling win7 again and see what happens.
p.s. is there any way of formatting the laptop as win7 doesnt do it?

You can boot to safe mode + networking to do what you have to.

That tells you that the networking driver is the likely cause. Try to get the latest driver (from motherboard manufacturer) onto USB key, floppy or burn to CD or DVD. Install it in safe mode (no networking) using the device manager. Then boot to normal mode and try out your luck.

You can use CPU-Z for that. You could also put it on USB key and then run it from safe mode. Then visit Samsung's website.
