Read my post again, asking which one you've done.
I've clicked on the link that says 'Download an ISO from Windowa 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk - Windows 10 Forums'. I've downloaded the x86 ISO on that page and the x64 ISO and burnt both onto DVD's seperately but none of them work when booting.
I just put the disc in and started up my laptop but the disc doesn't load.
You need to go to the boot options and select the disc.
I believe you need to press F12 before Windows loads to bring up the boot options.
I have already done this but nothing loads on the screen when the disc is starting up.
Sorry for this trouble, I wrote the ISO part assuming you couldn't boot and kept that thought.
You can install HDTune from http://www.hdtune.com/ instead
Do I just install the trial version of HDTUNE? Burn this to cd?
Ok thanks. So I don't need to bother with the thing that I was trying to boot before?
