Hi ThrashZone,
Could you see if a BIOS update resolves this problem, there are many available for your motherboard :)
Hi,
All the bios updates state mostly for new x series chips compatibilities :/
Not using a x series chip still i7-5930k which Steve said is good for him.
What happened is I changed my psu which was a 1200P2 and put in my 850P2
I tried to crank up my gtx980 hybrid to 125 core clock and 585 memory clock and it bsod
Tried 75 core clock and 300 memory clock and it also bsod
Could be not enough power or the gpu sucks :)
Hi,
Not sure how to check that :/
I can say realbench completes with a cpu overclock and the gpu at normal clocks.
Now that was taken from Adaptive voltage and balanced profile now if i show locked cores with performance enabled you will see it get much higher
Example i put it on performance mode and it is idle check out how much juice it uses now just idle
Hi,
Thanks Tommie I'm going to wait until I get my i9 back looks like sometime tomorrow before I try a oc the gpu again
When I posted that reading my cpu was at nearly 4200Hmz gpu was default but all was pretty much nill load wise.
