Random BSOD possible hardware/driver incompatibility
Hello!
First time posting here, my name is Dustin and it's nice to virtually meet you :)
So i've been having lots of BSOD issues after building my gaming PC. I initially had a SSD as my main system drive and a GTX 1060, the SSD seemed to have become corrupt or perhaps it was corrupt to begin with (i bought it on ebay) and i reinstalled Win7 on my Seagate HDD, however i still get a random BSOD occasionally, while downloading a large file i.e. a game on Origin, which made me think there may be a problem with the drivers responsible for writing data to the drive...
I had reinstalled Win10 several times when i was unable to install Win7 because 3.0USB drivers were needed, then Win7 once i used the tool from Asus to make an iso which included the 3.0USB drivers.
I swapped the GTX 1060 for a GTX Titan i had, hoping it would eliminate the hardware incompatibility with the motherboard, seemingly the GTX 1060 did not agree with the Asus motherboard and/or drivers.
i've spent countless hours scouring forums trying to troubleshoot, reconfigured both hardware, software and drivers several times and generally stressed out repeatedly for no good reason during the last few weeks trying to get this custom build to work properly.
Your help in solving these unpredictable BSODs is most appreciated!
