    BSOD playing Overwatch, error 0x00000101

    Hi there,

All this happend when I decided to move my PC to an other Pc case. Before, for more than 5 years I had no problem at all.

After playing for a while I always get a bluescreen "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT" (error 0x00000101), its alwasys persistent when i play Overwatch, sometimes it happen after 5min ingame other times after 30min. Also sometimes it used to happen, just browsing on the internet, or using my music editing software or Photoshop/Ilustrator. My Minidump folder appears empty. When I try to make a check with "prime95" it freezes my PC and restarts my PC or I get a bluescreen, too. I have also to mention that, sometimes, after a bluescreen I reset the PC and just on the desktop screen I get a bluescreen again. Its really random a lot of times and I am really confused...

    - I made a clean re-install of Windows, I formated all the hard drives.
    - I Changed the Sata cables
    - Made Ram tests, CPU test, Motherboard test (All with no error messages from "Windows memory diagnostic", "Hot CUP" and "IPDT")

Please, I add the dump files, hope its possible to figure out what is wrong in my PC.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Have you come across this article before? (see below)

Stop Code 0x00000101 - CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT Error in Windows* with...

(implied question: are you up to date with your drivers there? as it may be one of the issues there, given the checks you've already carried out there)

So I had a look at that article, but it did not solve the problem ... I updated my BIOS cause its the only thing it wasnt. Had a try playing an other game besides Overwatch and after 1h or so playing all was fine. Then I tried Overwatch... and after aprox 20min in the game.. bluescreen... and still, when I try to do the prime95 test it goes straight bluescreen.

Your report states that you are using a Non Genuine copy of software
This forum's Rules clearly state that help will not be provided to those using Non genuine Software.

    Rule 4
No piracy or discussion of piracy allowed at all. Such as software, music, videos and other intellectual property violations (e.g. downloading youtube videos locally etc) - it is forum policy that no help shall be given to people who knowingly steal software or services.

One of the main reasons for this is that the act of pirating software will inevitably change the working of software and make investigation and repair impossible. Please install a legitimate copy of the software and if you are still experiencing the issue we will be pleased to assist - No further assistance will be provided until we are satisfied that the software is genuine.
