I just downloaded it yesterday - will do that now.
Upgraded bios to version F8. We'll see if anything changes. It could be several days before it crashes again.

Did anything stand out in the dmp files?

The main thing that stood out was the date of the BIOS.

I would guess that either the motherboard or CPU is bad.

    Diagnostic Test

     CPU TEST

Run Prime95 to stress test your CPU. Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU - Windows 7 Forums

       Warning
Your CPU temperatures will rise quickly while under this stress test. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

I let it run for about 2.5 hours on the default test- no errors reported.

I did notice that the HDD light stops flashing once PC goes offline - never while in use. Sometimes when I turn on the monitor after hours on non-use, it's like a frozen screen shot. Can't type and completely non-responsive.

In the power plan, I noticed it's set to idle HDD after 20min, so I changed it to never. It seems like it may be going into an idle state, but never spinning back up properly.

    Stress test results are attached.
