    Multitude of BSOD/freeze/reboots

I tried uploading to you all and it gives me a server error.
i have recently reinstalled graphics drivers and it has (so far) stopped the visible bsod's, but is still rebooting and freezing on me.

    Hi Dulled,

More than likely because your running a non genuine OS

Retail motherboard with an OEM product key
and as you have not been able to update your system in a while, i suspect MS has picked this up as well

Forum rules state that Piracy is not supported so until a genuine product is installed no further help can be provided

I had actually received this computer as a gift so this would be unknown to me. I just have Windows updates turned off (They created more BSOD). Since it was "Activated" and had a Genuine label under My computer i had no way of knowning.

    Hi Dulled,

The key currently in use is for an Hewlett Packard factory built computer
CERTAINLY NOT - the key you have on your COA sticker

Can you open your system page via control panel
hit the change product key (blue line)
and enter the key from the sticker.

if the sticker states OEM HP Home premium, then it did NOT come with the motherboard currently installed in your comp. (what does it state)

please run this tool after rebooting, copy/paste the output and i will look it over

If the key turns out to be genuine, then you will need to update.
