BSOD prevents Hibernation every time, "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR"

I am really hoping to find a happy ending here. I cannot use hibernation at all due to BSOD every time with the same error code INTERNAL POWER ERROR. All my searches online turn up steps to fix this error that do not work, increasing hiberfil, cycling /h on in powrcfg, etc. I have had to modify the video driver to be compatible with Windows 7, so I would not be surprised if that is the culprit.

Logs are attached. I was having problems with my Bluetooth (fixed), but I apologize for the abundance of error codes they spun off before fixed.

Can I ask why you installed Windows 7 and not Windows 10? HP doesn't provide support for any Windows version besides Windows 10 which can cause compatibility issues, including the internal power error you have.

Because Windows 7 is far superior to Windows 10. This is the only problem I've run into so far, besides a lack of drivers for the touch screen. I'm really hoping it can be fixed.

IMO it's the opposite, I find the new interface very user friendly, easy & better looking and the improved built-in security can help a lot.

Have you asked anywhere else for help?

Yes, I've posted on SuperUser, but had no luck. Is there another forum that might have better luck? This seems like the best place on the internet for this kind of problem.

I find Windows 10 buggy and unreliable, exhausting as I am bombarded with ads, invasive/sneaky, uncontrollable, and very very ineffective. Basic options take 4-5 layers to get to. I did not think I would be justifying how great Windows 7 is on a Windows 7 forum.

I was just wondering about your opinion as to why you installed a OS that officially isn't supported by your vendor.

Since I can't immediately find a thread from you, I want to ask you if you've tried anything else besides what's mentioned in this thread.

So what else can I do?
