    Diagnostic Test

     DRIVER VERIFIER

       Warning
Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
    Please create a restore point.

Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

       Note
Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

    Out of range (Fromthe Monitor)

Could not get any response from the PC (By typing ormoving the Mouse)

I had to unplug the PC.

When I plugged it back in I was presented with the Screenthat states that Windows ended abnormally and how do you want to Restart. Ichose Restart Windows normally.

Same scenario as above except it appeared that Windows gotfurther along, maybe an additional 15 seconds of trying to load.

I did NOT unplug but was presented with Windows endedabnormally and how do you want to Restart. I chose Restart Windows normally.

    Then a long Please Wait.

    Then the Sign in screen.

    Then the Welcome screen.

Then Out of Range from the Monitor.

I did NOT unplug but was presented with Windows endedabnormally and how do you want to Restart. I chose Restart Windows normally.

I chose Safe Mode this time.

    Please Wait.

    Malwarebytes wanted to be enabled.

    I enabled it.

Then told the PC was not connected to the Network. (I thing this came from Malwarebytes.)

Restarted so I could choose Safe Mode with Network.

    Starting Windows.

    Signin.

    Welcome.

Then Out of Range from the Monitor.

Presented with Safe Mode Help Screen.

That’s where it ended or was trying to do something butnever went anywhere.

Since we last communicated I have:

Replaced the original PC with another refurb.
Replaced the Hard Drive with a new one.
Did a clean install of Window-7 Pro.
Did an Easy File Transfer of all used data.
    Run mrt /f:y
    Run MSE.
    Run Malwarebytes Pro.

The exact same: Out of range (From the Monitor).
    The request to restart Windows.

    YIKES!

    What to do?

    I guess, I give up.

Thanks again for your time and effort.

    Best regards,

    Mike Lynch

I decided to try one more thing.
I went back to an old RGB Monitor.
As of 0900am EDST, 06-21-2018, it was installed.
I'll report back if my PC fails again.
