code 0x0000007e seemingly during searching for driver update

hello, well it seems it crashes right as it starts to look for new driver updates, the problem in that case should be obvious i cant fix a driver issue if it crashes when i launch windows, i tried looking at the crash reports and that's how i found this place i have also started to clear out parts of my ssd that i boot from.. though i suspect that wont do anything as it has about 10 gb left of space i also defrag-ed it, after all that i tried it again and same error. i have another computer i can hook up the ssd to and try to take off drivers that way but i tried looking for them and didn't quite know what i was doing, as i know i cant just delete it as i read that messes up the drivers and makes it harder to reinstall

any and all suggestions are welcome for obvious reasons i don't particularly want to reinstall windows but i am looking to try that soon, though i have read that that doesn't always solve the problem.

thank you in advance for your time and help
