BSOD loop

My laptop has been stuck in a BSOD loop with a "page fault in no page area" message. I can't log into Windows at all, it just crashes on the logo screen, dumps physical memory, and restarts.

Safe Mode won't boot.
System repair can't repair anything.
System restore doesn't have any restore points.

I ran chkdsk and it came back with "Failed to transfer logged messages to the vent log with status 50."

Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition
Intel Core i5 (2nd Gen) 2410M / 2.3 GHz
Mobile Intel HM65 Express chipset
8 gigs of ram

Have you made any recent changes or added hardware/software? This could be the source other than a Windows update that is the source problem.

I'm wondering if you could boot UBCD4Win with Bluescreeview preloaded and then read the BSOD details. The prerequisite is a XP OS.

Edit- Looks like there is a Wiin7PE. The Oven

Could be malware. Do you suspect that perhaps? If so you can boot a Bitdefender live CD and scan the system. There are other anti-virus CDs as well. You can use IMGBurn portable to burn the ISO.

Hi RogHill, welcome to Seven Forums,

First off, let's get your system specs sorted out and we can go from there!

Rather than having your system specs in your post(s), perhaps you could include your system specs in your UserCP > Edit System Spec setup.

The tutorial below (Published by Brink and written by CyberZeus) let's you easily see all of your system information, along with the option of easily filling out your system specs here at Seven Forums easier.

How to See Your System Specs with "System Info"

This way it will be easier for people to help you in the future and save you having to put your system spes on all your posts!

I hope this helps!

I'm using another computer to post. The one with the BSOD loop doesn't load Windows at all.

I don't think it's malware. I did a scan not too long before the crash and it found nothing.
