Hi WillNelson ,

For a short period of time I'm covering some threads in Seven Forums.
Normally you can find me troubleshooting in Ten Forums.

1) In the DM log collector there were 18 BSOD mini dump files.
2) The debugging displayed multiple misbehaving drivers.
3) The logs displayed quarantined malware and sometimes problems with windows defender.
4) The bugchecks over the past few months in the logs included:
3D
7F
3B
7E
1A
A
D1
4A
1E
119
E3
18
50
24
19
4E
C1
10D
10E

5) If you are able to perform a clean install that is a good option as that should fix any residual problems with malware and malfunctioning drivers.
6) If you are not able to perform a clean install then perform a Windows 7 repair and check for malware with antivirus software that is not currently installed on the computer.

8) uninstall the Nvidia GPU driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller)
9) re-install the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website
10) make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.

13) Uninstall and reinstall: iusb3xhc.sys

14) Uninstall Xbox during the troubleshooting process and reinstall after the computer environment has passed one week with a stable computer environment (no BSOD, no unexpected restarts, etc.)

In the time since your reply, I've tried following points 7-13. I've still gotten several crashes in the meantime; log collection attached. Of note, I hadn't followed all the tasks right away, partly noticeable in the logs. I first uninstalled the iusb3 drivers (while in Safe Mode), though that had the effect of (at least until I booted into Win7 and not Safe Mode) depowering my usb ports while booted to OS. This meant I couldn't use my keyboard or mouse until the issue solved itself. I haven't yet tried reinstalling the iusb3 drivers, but usb devices seem to be running fine now. Same day, I un/reinstalled the graphics driver, as per points 8 and 9. Between the 6th and 7th I un/reinstalled the network driver, though that had the issue of the driver installation not actually making the device work. I had to go into Device Manager and tell it to look for the drivers in a particular folder before it started working. Then after the crash logged on the 7th I uninstalled the EaseUS backup program, but haven't reinstalled it yet either.

I ran most of the scan programs mentioned in point 7, and what results I could collect I added to the log zip. Looked like they didn't find much that I'd think would be contributing to my issues.

Hadn't at the time actually read the Repair Install link you included, but I may give that a try. Also because last time I tried booting from the Win7 install disc I had the same issue mentioned above with my usb devices.

It's been over a week now since I tried the Repair Install of Win7, and it doesn't seem to have helped. Even tried cleaning out my video driver again. A few of the files that have since gotten blamed by the minidump logs I don't even know why they're somehow at fault. Files such as Beep, srv, and even cdrom.sys (???) have shown up, as viewable in the attached collection.

Three weeks later, I'm still getting about the same crashes. Figure I should at least update this thread with another log collection, if it helps at all. As far as I'm aware, nothing big has changed since my last posting.

 RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.
