    Hi MyPoorPC,

This is an issue with a bug in Malwarebytes that has been going for at least 2 months now.

The issue started with a new feature that they have implemented in the web protection to block based on URL's.

At the moment, it should be fixed in the BETA version so it's a matter of waiting for a new stable version of Malwarebytes to be rolled out. Meanwhile it is recommend to keep the web protection feature off.

Thank you for the info axe0. I have disabled web protection as you suggested and will look closely at the fixes in the next release.

I registered for the Malwarebytes beta and have been updating regularly. I know it's premature, but I haven't had BSOD since. Here's how to do so if you want to share with anyone else.

Yes I had these issues, and after applying the Beta patch it cured the problem, now the release is apparently no longer beta and it is working fine.

I think I found the problem. The Malwarebytes cure was worse than the disease. Right now my computer randomly freezes to the point where I'll get a "Microsoft Windows Application is not working. Cancel / End Process" error message on screen. In addition, I cannot log off or shut down normally.

Currently running everything except Malwarebytes to be sure, then will post the issue in their forums.

My recent install of Avast Internet Security doesn't play nice with Malwarebytes since the fix, even when I exclude the two programs from one another. Computer works great otherwise so I am marking as solved.

Thanks everyone who provided assistance. I hope I have repped everyone involved.
