I ran the Memory Check app., no errors.

You mean they're second handed bought? If so, have you contacted the previous owner about the conditions of the hardware?
Was there any software already installed (including any operating system) when you received the pc?

Yes, both were purchased from the Internet.
I installed a brand new hard drive before I cloned my 'original' PC to either of them.

When did the pc arrive? I'm seeing lots of errors with the ATA drive in the eventlog which concerns me.

My guess, the 6000 series was about five months ago, the 8000, about four months ago.

The drive I have is a sata drive.

I mean specifically the one this thread is about.

ATA is part of the model, the full model is ATA WDC WD40EZRX-00S.

If buying a new drive and cloning the current one to it, I'll do it if you feel it would help.

Cloning from a bad HDD is not recommended since the data could be corrupt. But you could try it.

The corrupt data is probably the reason to the BSOD in the first place. Could be a bad driver or dll.
