    BSOD playing World of Warcarft, error 0x00000116


    while playing world of warcraft i get a blue screen from time to time, i just got a new video card, re installed windows and drivers, not sure what else i can check can anyone help?

    wyattearp- I used to watch him on TV when I was a kid (telling my age).

    First thing I would do is go to Device manager, Display Adapter and make sure no errors are shown.

    Second, run dxdiag.exe and select the 64 bit check. Are there any problems shown in any of the tabs?

Ok, here's the problem, this started when i had to change my graphics because of all the BSOD's i was getting. My first card was a NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS, the card i now have installed is a GeForce 8500 GT. When im browsing the web, listening to music or watching videos both cards have no problem....

Looks like windows 7 64 bit drivers from nvidia are not quite up to the challenge yet? I am using the nvidia 190.62 driver. Anyone else seen this? Also, BSOD aside, I will get times where the video just freezes but if i ctrl+alt+del then click cancel, wow will unfreeze. Thanks all! ...
