Swapped from a Z87I and i5 4670K to an AMD asrock Mobo and Ryzen 2600x CPU, when trying to boot Windows 7 from my SSD it gets past BIOS but BSOD when trying to load Windows and gives the error 0x7B 0XFFFF880009A97E8, 0XFFFFFFFFC0000034
I've tried to boot with a windows 7 iOS on a formatted USB but it won't detect it as a device to boot from.
I think you meant Win 7 ISO, not iOS.
You should be able to boot via your flash drive by going into the BIOS boot options and making sure a USB device is set to boot ahead of the hard drive/SSD.
I'm not sure what that's going to do for you since, it appears, that there's a SATA controller driver issue with the SSD or some other BIOS setting that needs to be made.
Maybe one of the other helpers can expand on that.
If it's an Intel install all drivers will be wrong a clean install will be needed and you will have to load extra drivers to do an install
1. You can use "adjust to new hardware module" available in several disk imaging programs.
They typically search the \windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository of your installtion and install the appropriate drivers. They will also offer to add extra drivers you point to. Some will suggest extra drivers you might need.
2. You will need to reactivate windows. If you have a retail licnse, just insert the key as normal. If it is not a retail license, you will probabaly need to call MS on the toll free number - wait patiently till an operator answers. Then explain you had to change your mobo, and confirm it is only installed on one machine.
3. There are no win7 drivers for that Ryzen apu, as far as I am aware. ( That means you can't use the graphics on the cpu - intel call it igpu ). You will need a separate graphics card.
If you can find one of the earlier free paragon programs - some have the adjust to new hardware feature.

c) Get the program to create bootable media
Boot the media on the machine with the transplanted hard drive.
When the O&O boot media has booted up, Click Tools > Change Computer Properties

Paragon (free) rescue kit 14 - also contains bootable Linux based iso which have the paragon version of adjust to new hardware.
Select "Boot Corrector" > "Search for windows installations to correct" from the linux menu to get to the adjust to new hardware option:

I can't guarantee the Linux media will boot on all systems - depends what drivers paragon have included.
The rescue kit can also create winpe boot media - but that does not include the adjust to new hardware feature - I have no idea why it is only in the Linux boot media.
