hey again
the only thing that shows up there is:
USB\UNKNOWN
under Device Instance Path it says though
USB\VID_0000&PID_0000\6&2CA605F6&0&4
dunno if that helps somehow
and this is under Parent:
USB\VID_058F&PID_9254\5&73cd85c&0&4
under this under Sibling:
USB\VID_0B38&PID_0003\6&2ca605f6&0&1
hey guys
i'm aware that it's probably starting to annoy by now but i'm still suffering here from these BSOD's. I wanted to know if there's any news about driver files that might help me solve this Unknown Driver issue. I'm also adding the last minidump file (from a minute or so ago), maybe there's the slightest chance it will help shed some light on this topic.
just really frustrating here to buy a new computer and to have to spend all that time trying to figure our why it's working against me and not with me.
thank you guys anyhow for your help.
Install latest 15.51 chipset drivers from here:
download from Guru3D.com
And install latest bios and SATA2 driver from here:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.as...l=N68-S&o=Win7
just installed it an hour ago and it happened once again. do you see something else in this documentation perhaps?
Your network driver never seems to get updated:
nvm62x32 nvm62x32.sys Fri Oct 17 17:00:39 2008
So use the device manager to install it manually by using the extracted folder from the 15.51 download.
Do the same for the SATA controller driver:
nvstor nvstor.sys Wed May 20 02:44:09 2009
hey.
windows insists that i have the latest drivers installed. i dont really know how to bypass that. i tried to cancell the automatic installation of drivers so i have the option to reinstall them by giving in a specific director for the computer to look in but it dosen`t help.
i don`t really know as well how to make sure what version of the driver i have installed on my computer as oppsed to the new one.
In device manager:
right click on what you're updating, update driver software, browse, let me pick, have disk, browse, find and double click on the .inf, hit ok, hit next.
well
i've updated them. at least i think i did. still going slightly mad here cause no hour goes by without a BSOD.
are those drivers the correct ones for my computer? the motherboard that i have is 630a / GeForce 7025 and 15.51 version doesn't support this motherboard (at least so it says on the nvidia website).
once i updated the wireless network adapter it didn't work anymore so i had to go back to the recommended driver and to install it.
i've also contacted the manufacturer but until i get an answer from him i'm kind of lost here. still believing that i can solve this by myself.
sorry if this unsolved problem is starting to get on someone else's nerves besides mine...
i attached the minidumps from the last hours
Ah...alright then. I incorrectly assumed that the 15.51 would support your board because it is in 6 series as guru3d.com shows. But you're right, not for your 630a.
Install the chipset and SATA drivers from here instead and hopefully issues will be solved:
ASRock > Products > Motherboard > N68-S > Download
I'm not at a pc where I can check the dump files. That link is for x86. Change to x64 if that's what you have.
