You can also install the latest SATA2 and audio drivers.

it's weird cause the nVidia drivers page offer version 15.49 which i have installed on my computer but the asrock motherboard downloads page offer version 15.37 for download.

i assumed that 15.49 was the most updated version so i downloaded and installed it.

Cryptography is a necessary part of the OS, but there's also add-on's that utilize it.
If you haven't installed any security programs to protect your files, then don't worry about it.

Which is the chipset - audio, video, or HDD? The answer is none of the above and some of the above. It all depends on how the motherboard drivers were laid out by the manufacturer.
The chipset is the software that runs the motherboard and enables it to talk with Windows. It gets a bit fuzzy when you combine things like video drivers, and remove things like storage drivers.

The nVidia drivers page version 15.49is the most current.
AsRock posts the versions that work well with their systems, but doesn't update it if they feel that there's no need (more about this in the next paragraph).

If the system is working properly, don't update your drivers. DO NOT fix something that is not broken. BUT if the system gets broken, then you'll have to update drivers to fix what's broken - and sometimes you'll just update everything when trying to fix a problem.

The critical thing here is if a newly released driver has issues - and you install it on your system. Then your system will break. So we don't recommend installing drivers unless they are needed.

    Good luck!

Here are 15.51 but that isn't going to help you. Notice the versions it supports and how yours is not included. So that's why I directed you to mobo page.

nForce 15.51 WHQL Windows Vista 32-bit download from Guru3D.com

So, I'm just posting this for information. Don't use it to install or anything, heh heh. Install from the motherboard page only, to ensure that it's installed from there. Otherwise, nothing may be installed or important updates could be missed out.

well, while i'm doing all those check ups here is a poem for you to enjoy by my favorite poet - Wislawa Szymborska.
hope it repays in a way for all the help and your patience.

In Praise of Feeling Bad About Yourself

The buzzard never says it is to blame.
The panther wouldn't know what scruples mean.
When the piranha strikes, it feels no shame.

    well

did everything. uninstalled network driver and then reinstalled. ran a strong malware check of malwarebytes because of that cng.sys file. it came up with nothing.

i must say the main errors these days that are accumulating really fast in the event viewer are mostly service control manager errors.

computer ran fine after i did all i was told to do, then i put it to sleep (and i must say as well that above all the fan continues running even thought the computer is in sleep mode...) and when i turn it back on it was kind of obvious to me that in a matter of minutes or so it will freeze again and show a BSOD.

    i added the minidump file...

does that mean we are going to try this last solution that you wrote about?

    thanks

Please rename this driver to spyder3.bak then reboot and see how it goes:
    Code:
    Spyder3 Spyder3.sys Mon Sep 10 09:11:10 2007
And update this network driver as well. You can use the device manager if necessary, while pointing to a new driver download you've gotten.

Right click on it. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Find the .inf and double click on it. Hit ok. Hit next:

    Code:
    nvm62x32 nvm62x32.sys Fri Oct 17 17:00:39 2008

Is the internet working? If so, don't worry about it because it fixed itself.

If not, set a static ip address using a free Open DNS server, in Windows for the IPv4 line in network connections properties.

You may have removed Bonjour incorrectly sometime prior. In this case, reset the network stack.
