Random BSOD lc63x64.sys

No idea where this came from but it happened out of nowhere while posting on Pinterest.

I looked up the .sys file and all I got was windows 8 related stuff but I am on windows 7 so I have no idea.

Maybe a driver needs updating somewhere but I can't figure out which one and what caused this bsod.

Do you happen to be playing any Steam games. If so, which one?

Ignore this. Wrong time period.

Nope I wasn't at the time, just had chrome and firefox opened and each has like 20 tabs.

Had Illustrator open before that but I closed it when I was done.

I updated my video card driver today not long after the BSOD just in case that might be the issue. I really don't know what specifically caused it though.

Well, the problem in the last BSOD is L1C62x64.sys which is the driver for your Qualcomm Atheros AR8161/8165 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller. However, I don't see anything in the event log to indicate it causing a problem. I searched around on that problem and the best I could find is to make sure you have the latest driver (or possibly, reinstall it).

I mentioned Steam because the last error entry (and in many other cases) in the Windows error log is related to a game and the way to fix the problem is to reinstall it, from what I can find.

Interesting. Maybe it was a blip with the atheros driver as that has triggered a bsod in the past when it needed updating.

Still strange though. Hopefully it won't happen again.

If you don't notice anything else from the logs, then that's fine. If it bsods again, I'll just make another log and reference this post. Thank you for your help in this issue by the way.

Yes, regenerate all the files if you get another BSOD.
