Itunes crashes my computer. Horizontal colored lines on screen?

I recently downloaded Itunes 12.10.3.1 for my PC & it will work fine for a while after i open it. But after about 30 minutes to an hour i always get these horizontal colored lines on my screen & then my PC restarts itself automatically. When it starts back up, there's usually no error message or info telling me what the issue is.

The only error message i ever received was something along the lines of "C:\Users\A\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-(random numbers)-sysdata" (kicking myself for not writing it down). I've tried creating a new user account, system restore, factory reset, uninstalling & reinstalling itunes but nothing seems to fix it. What is most likely causing the issue & how can i fix it?

My mom has a Compaq laptop. It has Windows 7. Yesterday, the screen randomly turned a blue-ish green color. The Google Chrome new tab page is where she first noticed. It's pretty much wherever there should be white, there's that funny color. When I restart it, the white Compaq "Q" logo is green...
