That's a subjective statement. Objectively, looking at hundreds of BSOD's in Windows 7, I have never found a Windows-supplied driver that has caused a BSOD.If one allows M$ to update their drivers your running a huge risk IMO.
So I guess you're the sole proprietor of all the knowledge related to computers and beyond.
Maybe not a BSOD, but other irregularities may result from Microsoft-provided drivers rather than keeping the driver/s you use now that work for what you do, or going to the manufacture's website and getting the driver directly from them. Be it your sound card, video card, NIC driver, etc. I would never allow M$ to update my drivers behind my back. I like the control of doing this myself so if I get an issue I more than likely know what to blame it on. And I've read posts on various other forums where people have let M$ update their drivers and they run into issues. Best to just keep that feature disabled.
