Hal.dll Blue Screens Since Installing GPU
Ever since installing my new graphics card, I've been having issues. I did do some windows updates when updating my graphics card.
The issue isn't the graphics card itself, since I switched it out with a new new one and its still blue screening. I've also tried replacing the RAM, still blue screens. I've done checks on my SSD and hard drive through the Seagate tool and all tests seem to pass.
These blue screens happen randomly. While I'm watching a YouTube video or playing a game. However seem to occur more frequently when playing games.
There have been some strange occurrences however. Such as windows booting with a black screen and me needing to wait a few minutes for the desktop to actually appear and function. I can open task manager and end explorer.exe and start it up myself in order to speed up the process.
This has been happening for a while, before the blue screens, but sometimes when I boot, my computer says it doesn't detect any OS installed. Then restarting, it detects the OSs I have installed.
I have two versions of Windows 7 installed. On my other version of Windows 7, I do not get the black screen, slow boot, that I described above. I don't know if that's related to anything.
Any help would be appreciated!
