Rarely, when I boot the computer up, the mouse and keyboard do not work. Unplugging and replugging them back in usually fixes that.

However, recently, doing so has caused a blue screen error. The error mentions "atikmpag.sys", which is a file related to AMD video card drivers. The computer also seemingly was "frozen" when I noticed the mouse/kb did not work since the time on the computer was about 20 minutes behind (It seems it may of been related to when I plugged in a tablet to transfer files from it. Which is something I do regularly with that same computer and tablet).

Now, is the video card drivers causing the crash (which sounds kind of odd since plugging the mouse/kb into the USB port is what triggered it), or is the USB port affecting the video card somehow?

I have not changed the drivers recently (or have installed anything new). I also do not connect that computer to the internet, so it is not virus/malware related. I have not actually even used that computer for a little more than a month now and had it off the entire time.

Some of the USB ports on the computer do not even work anymore, keep in mind. I have had issues with the USB ports just failing in the past. So I am not sure if that is part of the problem.
