    windows explorer not responding


    hi all :)
    i have always problem with windows explorer it s always crush and it make the window as if dancing (EX: AV kaspersky ). and a word comes in the next of the name of software like kis "kaspersky internet security 2010 (notresponding) "
    i downloaded the least updats and i installed theme but problem still not solved......
    please help me

    possible virus? Check any codecs you might have installed. I had a problem like this once with videos. Every time i went to watch one windows would crash. Turns out i had too many video codecs.

    On the other hand you could have possibly downlakoided a virus from the anti virus. It happened to me. try going to download.com and getting AVG free edition.

    AVG is the worst scourge of the internet and worse than an actual virus. I repaired 50 machines in the last week with it alone and bsod. Please do not install that under any circumstances.

    Uninstall the Kaspersky to test. Disabling will have no beneficial effect.

    Notto start an arguement but my parents have had avg for several years with out a single problem.

    As far a testing would go,

    parent's experience < internet as a whole experience.

    Meaning, if there are bsod at all on a machine with AVG, AVG is the prime and usually (~ 100% of the time), only cause.

    I am sure there is a machine here or there than runs it without bsod.

    not only kis evry software i give ex like kaspersky
    and it's not a virus caus i scaned the pc by windows defender many times
    and with kis many times
    please help me

    i have this problem before install kis
    and i have this problem with widndows explorer and IE8
    and it's not a virus becaus. and i have this problem since i installled windows 7
