Windows 7: Freezing, help me!

I just checked on your motherboard. That's the likely issue here because it is so old without proper drivers and support.

Not even Broadcom themselves have a lan driver for you.

It can only help to install the latest bios from here:

I downloaded the driver but no matter what i click on in the folder it doesnt do anything. When i click the flash it says onboard bios not award bios.

also since the problem started my computer has been acting wierd on startup, my ge force fan cranks to max right at the beginning, which is normal. It stays on too long however and i don not get any display whatsoever untilll it slows down, it is like 30 seconds longer than normal. Im not sure if this has anything to do with it, but i still freeze every 10-15 mins and have to restart

I also had a question, if it was my motherboard drivers why did it work fine all week? what changed from the first install? Does this maybe suggest hardware failure?

It sounds like you've got a bunch of problems here, but torrentg has them well in hand.
I'd like to suggest that there may be an issue with your video card because of this:

Please install this free program to see if it picks up the video card sensor: Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer
