help with non responding programs.. etc.. please help

is it just mine...??

when you get a non responding program... i do have a few which turn out like this..

especially on starting up a program... it freezes up.. goes into not responding...

on xp.. ending the process usually worked pretty quick, 99% of the time the program would end instantly...

but with W7... even from a fresh install... it freezez up applications.. ending the process doesnt work with ending the process...

applications which are affected most of all..

traktor scratch dj studio for traktor scratch duo..
safari web browser for win7... latest version
sony acid pro 7.. for win7
flstudio 9... for win7


as well as a few others.. but these are the main ones..

usually they will run first time... sometimes they may take... a..very....long....time to run tho..

sometimes up to a minute or two...

other times they boot pretty fast..

but with all of them..

when they are "not responding" they freeze... unable to use the end process in task manager... they just linger... the aplication window goes white out... and the close program... option comes up..

close program does not close the program..
task manager still shows the application.exe running...

then when it finally does terminate...

the program takes eons to open again... "go away to make a cuppa tea" come back and it might be working kinda time period..


and... is it just me...
system restore takes bloody ages...
if you turn your comp off without closing it down... for instance if the programs stay open and the whole system hangs when closing down... never actually closes down... so you power off..

then the start up recovery on boot up comes up...

this takes about 1/2 an hour or more...

to find "no problems???"

whats up with that??

all this WINDOWS &.. all singing and all dancing CR@P!!

you have to quite litterally wait for an entire theatrical performance before simple requests like... end process work..

whats the crack with that???



oh just to add..

i have a...

intel Quad core Q9550
4 gig of ram.
1tb hard drive
windows (i.m.h.o...not so) 7 Ultimate x64Bit


does anyone have any solutions on this...

updates are up to date..
i use AVG pro antivirus.. no viruses etc
adaware...

i sometimes run trend micro housecall if i have an issue...


please... this is just frustrating?!?! help?!?!
