Windows 7: Screen Fuzzy, then Blue Screenlue screen

Win 7-64 SP-1

Cool, thanks.

As far as updates, I only started with win7 about 3 weeks ago and I've done all the windows and IE updates (I use Firefox, but whatever) that were available at that time. I don't recall this happening the first week or so, but that may be faulty.

I think (crosses fingers) that I may have found the solution.

While noodling around with the settings, I found the NVIDIA settings and set everything to be controlled by the video card rather than the program using the video card (i.e. Win7).

I haven't had a crash yet (12 hours) and I was experiencing them every 10-30 minutes. I even turned SETI@home back on.

I'm not going to say anything for fear of jinxing it.
Let us know if it continues to work well.

Nope. It worked fine for two days, now it's getting worse and worse.

I found a pretty good card on Amazon.

Installed new video card last night. Everything is fine.

There were eight capacitors n the old card. Everyone was cracked open and three had fluids leaking out.

Hmmm... that might just explain the random video crashes...
