I didn't look at it to be honest. I did now though.

If you update the network driver, that should do some good. Have you done that already? And how is it going?

Hi again.
Downloaded driver for the network card. Did a double check and the computor now states that I have the latest drivers.

I just lost DNS connection, and something about ports.
This is the 5th time in a week that happens, I always have to restart the router.

Somehow I think this issue is related to when many people are playing games through my router (me and two friends).
I wonder if there can be a connection between a bad router and BSODs.

If I get a new BSOD, then I will head out and buy a new router.

BTW, I gave you rep, Torrentg. Thanks for all the information.

Look into updating the router's firmware.

And also check that you do not have mdnsresponder.exe in the task manager.

You're welcome.

Hi again, I did not have the mdnsresponder in the task manager.
I haven't revieced a blue screen now in several days.

But I haven't had a LAN going yet.

I am almost possitive that the comp will BSOD on me if we play some more LAN.
If that's the case, then it must be the network card or router, wouldn't you agree Torrentg?

I'll post next time I've done a LAN.

Ps, Just updated the firmware. It was way out of date =)

I suspect that you're right - and if that's the case, then you'll have to start with updating your networking drivers.

Hi, my second BSOD today.
Still while playing LAN, modern warfare.

I updated the network drivers and also the firmware on the router.

Could you have a look at the dump file and see if there are any clues in there for me?

Thanks guys

You're getting the following 0xF4 stop error:

Bug Check 0xF4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION

I'd uninstall all antivirus and firewalls as a test.

Then after rebooting, open an elevated command prompt and run this command. Hit enter after copying/pasting:

sfc /scannow

Use free download Dameware NT Utilities to delete any Norton services on your local machine that you can see. Check the box to delete the driver, while doing so. You can add your machine to the favorites first, if it doesn't automatically show under Workstations. Use the machine name or 127.0.0.1

Ok, No running Norton services.

I couldnt get access through dameware to my services. But I used the good old fashioned. \run services.msc. I also did the sfc /scannow and found issues, which got automaticly repaired. Might have been the cause.

I also installed an old network card, and disabled the built in network card.

I'll see if this works.

Thanks again for all the help
