    Crash, BugCheck 0x0000009f

Just turned on a new HP notebook with Window 7 Home Premium installed.
Installed ZoneAlarm, Folder match 3.4, and NetBean. Then it crashed with following message:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa800459da20, 0xfffff80000ba2748, 0xfffffa80041f5980). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 120609-19422-01.

I have seen people mentioned the the error is typically caused by Device Driver, but in this case, all the devices and drivers are coming from HP, which should have the latest...

Any ideas to overcome this challenge?

    Thanks,
    Lian

Hi. I'd completely uninstall ZoneAlarm to test.

You could also follow this to post the crash dump.

Please zip up the C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP file and upload it to a free file hosting service - then post the link to it for us to download it. The MEMORY.DMP file is too large to upload to this website.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDump This will generate dump files that can be uploaded to this website.

HP purchases parts from different vendors to assemble their systems. As such, they may not have the latest drivers. Additionally, drivers can be the latest version and can be corrupted - so they'll have to be replaced anyway.

Also, the programs that you installed may have installed drivers (Zone Alarm will definitely install drivers). And those may have compatibility or corruption issues - that's the point of getting the memory dump files. It'll allow us to see what's causing the crashes.
