Windows 7 ro 64 Freezes requires hard reset

Hi I have a problem which has gotten worse over the last few days. I have a dell 730 xps with water cooling, the water cooling fan went out causing over heating and shut downs. I have a dual boot setup with 2-500 gig hard drives, Vista 32 Ulti and Win 7 Pro 64. I have a qx9650 extreme chip and 2 gtx 280 video cards, 8 gigs of Corsair Dominator ram and a Creative Titanium Pro sound card. Drivers were all updated. Everything was running pretty good after the inital install, a few freeze ups maybe while playing WOW, vista 32 does the same thing, occassionally. After dell repaired the watre cooling they also replaced the mother board, this ruined my dual boot setup and after talking with microsoft tech, they did a repair which fixed the dual boot problem. Then the freezes became more often. And can happen at anytime, sitting at desktop, gaming or surfing internet. My descent setup is now crap. Currently I used driver sweeper 2.1.0 and removed the nvidia display drivers, and am now running windows display driver 8.15.11.8593 5/14/09 WDDMV 1.1 and these didnt fix it either. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

    Hi and welcome

We are going to need a ton more info before we can be of much use to you.

First thing we want to do is look in event viewer. Next time you freeze type eventvwr in search. goto the windows log>application tab. You want to look for errors ( they have red "X" in the left hand column). when you find them and you will, use the built in snipping tool (type snipping in search) to make screenshot and upload it using the attadchment icon( shaped like a paperclip) on the reply form

    See Pics

Let us know if you need help with that

Problems like you are having should be handled by Dell support. Is there a reason you aren't using Dell support to fix this problem?

I know exactly how to fix this type of problem but some expertise on your part will be required to make the required bios adjustments.

Tell me i know my way around the bios.
Dell support takes hours and this upgrade was not through dell. I purchased a new hard drive and the Win 7 pro at Tiger Direct

    Hi S

event id 7001 is a service dependancy fail. Suspect tcpip.
Your system may record the following event in the system event log: Event Type: Error
    Event Source: Service Control Manager
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 7001
    Date: 11/1/2000
    Time: 12:18:01 PM
    User: N/A
    Computer: Server
    Description:
The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service depends on the NetBIOS over TCP/IP service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled
I will take a peek at the others asap.

If I dont get back here within 12 hours PM me so I dont forget.

Do you think it is drivers , nvidia, or what. I have Creative sound blaster titanium pro sound card and drivers, and setpoint and the G13 G15 board drivers, Mcafee Virus suite.
Vista 32 is still way more stable right now than Win7 Pro.

thanks for reminding me. It has to be hardware if it appears in both win 7 and vista. If it is a desktop I would be pulling off every piece of hardware except the essentials. Keyboard, mouse, monitor, mobo, one stick of ram, etc.

when this first started can you go back to that day on event viewer and look thru that day for errors
