    Random Freezing/Locking up

System Specs : AMD athlon 4000+
    Motherboard - Geforce 6100-m9
    Video - Nvidia 8800gt

System continuously and randomly freezes/locks up during random actions. Tried Clean boot, Driver installs, Memory timings, and Safe mode system repair. NOTHING prevents this. any ideas?

If you can get in, go to Start > Run, and type msconfig. Uncheck everything except your virus scanner.

At the command prompt type cmd, Now type sfc /scannow.

    Yep

type eventvwr in search. Goto windows logs>applications tab. Look for errors (they have red in the left hand column) that mention app hang, app crash, etc. when you find them and you will use the built in snipping tool to make a screen shot and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a paper clip) in the reply form.

    Also
Look in c:\windows\minidump in case a file was created. If not there search *.DMP and upload them if avail.

    See pics

Hope this helps and let us know if you need help
