MS Management Console Stopped Wiorking Msg. ?

Hello,

New HP PC, W7 Home Premium, 64 Bit

Just received a message that:

"Microsoft Management Console has stopped working"

What is the MS Management Console, please ?
What, and where, is it used ? Or do ?

What causes the stopping, and is this a "significant" problem ?
etc. ?

Thanks,
Bob

From OP

Hi,

Was doing nothing "fancy"

Just reading some e-mails, I think.

This msg. has appeared before, but kind of rarely.
Maybe once every 2 days or so.
Thoughts on ?

The one I get, very often, is the one about Windows Exploorer Stopping, fixing itself, and re-starting. See all my Posts on this; still no definitive answer as to what might be happening. Literallydriving me crazy as it happens about once every hour, or so.

Have a new HP PC, Windows Home Edition, 64 Bit.

Thanks for help,
Bob

next time it happens take a look in event viewer to see if that gives any clues.you can look in event viewer when you want if you remember when it last happened.

Microsoft Management Console
