    White Screen!!

It's happened to me 3 times in a couple of weeks. Browsing, Firefox 3.5, the whole screen goes translucent white, you can see what you were doing through it but can't do a thing about it. I hide my taskbar, that rises to the occasion but none of the shortcuts work. They all recognise the cursor, but that's it. The right click menu pops up but again nothing works. Start Menu the same.

The only way out is to crash the thing with the power button and restart.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Andy.

Sounds like a Firefox issue. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? Be sure to download it directly from Mozilla.

Does any other browser do this, or just Firefox?

I don't know, I don't use any other, I really can't see the point. I have however updated Firefox to 3.5.6 and it did it to me again yesterday?

Open up your event viewer and go to windows logs/applications and see if there are any critical errors listed.... take a screen shot and attach it to your next post...

This seems to be the most common error, but I don't think this is it. Stupidly I didn't check the time last time it happened, next time I will.
