    Unknown error

    Hi

I just installed W7 in my laptop yesterday. As I have a problem with my battery, i changed power settings to power saving mode. So while I was away, the computer went into hibernate. I didn't know it was on hibernate, thought it was off and tried turning on/off for a while with no luck. Finally I just tried removing the battery and when i tried again, it came back on, a message before windows started said some error happened related to hibernation (that's when i knew it was on hibernate), gave me two options, resume, or something to do with fixing. Since I didn't know what to do, i resumed hoping it would be fine.

Well, now W7 starts without a problem, but my mouse moves very slow in a stop go stop go fashion, and most of the keys on my keyboard doesn't respond. Anyone has any idea what's wrong, and me how I can fix this?

    Thanks

Hopefully, it will be an easy fix.

Use system restore to a point prior to the problem

Several things that can be tried:

    Reinstall
    Upgrade install (a repair)

I think that under the circumstances and since you just installed it, just reinstall.
