Blue Screen

Hello!

I've just installed windows 7 and I've got 3 blueScreens in 2 days of experience. i only could read the last one, and it says "Quota overflow" on the first line. Here is the lines windows gave me after restarting up (descriptions are in Portuguese):

Nome do Evento de Problema: BlueScreen
Versão do sistema operacional: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Identificação da Localidade: 1046

Informações adicionais sobre o problema:
BCCode: 21
BCP1: 00000000
BCP2: 00000000
BCP3: C001000C
BCP4: BFB04326
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

Arquivos que ajudam a descrever o problema:
C:\Windows\Minidump\122009-21824-01.dmp
C:\Users\retrolectro\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-48453-0.sysdata.xml

So I made a .zip of the dmp files. any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your help,

retrolectro

H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Malware (read the details at the link)
**********************************************************************
Several errors here: STOP 0x1A, 0x21, and 0x1 They aren't seen very often, but hopefully they'll be easy one's!

After the above tests are completed (and the below drivers are updated) we'll work on updating your BIOS, then on using specific settings in Driver Verifier to isolate the culprit.

Also, there are a number of older drivers on the system. Please update them ASAP - particularly those from 2002 and 2004 (installation instructions below):
Code:
ctgame.sys Sun Dec 29 20:06:29 2002 - Creative Audio Game Port Enumerator
uafilter.sys Sun Jan 18 21:14:39 2004 - USB AUDIO FILTER DRIVER by SONIX Technology Co., LTD.

Driver Removal and Reinstallation
Please do the following:
- download a fresh copy of the latest Win7 version of the program for this driver from the device manufacturer's website (not from Windows Update or from the Update driver function in Device Manager). If there are no Win7 drivers, post back for further instructions on installing Vista drivers using Compatibility mode.
- uninstall the current version from your system
- install the freshly downloaded version
- check to see if you have any further BSOD's

Here we go again...

There are two other strange things happening. First, my internet is very slow. if i open up a page, it freezes or doesn't load, only if I press F5 several times. i share my connection with other computer through a router, everything is fine in the other (WP). quite strange. I was using Vista before and everything was fine.

Second, my mouse is behaving a little weird. something like a delay is happening. If i move the mouse, cursor movement is "interrupted" and no continuous.

And today I got another BlueScreen:

Assinatura do problema:
Nome do Evento de Problema: BlueScreen
Versão do sistema operacional: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Identificação da Localidade: 1046

BCP3: 0000FFFF
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

I run the scans, no malware in my computer. I tried to 4reinstall drivers, but i wasn't able to do this. Let's see what happens:

ctgame.sys Sun Dec 29 20:06:29 2002 - Creative Audio Game Port Enumerator
uafilter.sys Sun Jan 18 21:14:39 2004 - USB AUDIO FILTER DRIVER by SONIX Technology Co., LTD.

Crative Audio Game - this is an old drive used by a soundcard. i don't use this soundcard, I just installed to see if it was working well in windows 7. It doesn't, wo i removed the soundcard.

USB Audio Filter Driver - They don't have any new drivers. This is the last one.

Please, help. i'm doing now memory and hd test. I think there's nothing wrong, since I made these tests before installing windows 7. and what about slow internet and weird mouse movements?

Thanks a lot!

You must remove the programs that installed those older drivers (at least while we're testing). They are so old that they probably don't function properly in Win7.

Once uninstalled, check the C:\Windows\System32\drivers directory to make sure that they're gone. If not, rename them to end in .BAK.

Once these drivers are removed, then please post any further BSOD's.
The last one is a STOP 0x1A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT - which doesn't tell us much.

So, we'll take further steps if removing the two drivers doesn't fix things.

internet

usasma,

i really don't know, but I have a feeling that my problem has something to do with my network driver. You know better than me, of course... this is just a clue. My internet connexion sucks these days and this is not happening with the other pc (WinXP), neither when I was using Vista. Bluescreens use to happen when I'm doing nothing except using internet (e-mails, torrent and so on).
