    driver or motherboard problem

Hi I have windows 7 x64 version and I am facing strange issue.
Problem is that i wanted do turn off my computer but it crashed down during the turning off so i did hard reset. There were two updates to be installed but their instalation didn't started. They were installed next time. But from this hard reset I have problems that my sound card, graphic card and network card are not detected. And windows is runnig just in basic skin without aero with grey start menu. I tried to reinstall drivers but it didn't help I also tried repair install but i'm getting message : "windows could not retrieve informaton about disk on this computer" so can anybody pls help me with that stuff i will be glad for any piece of advice exept windows reinstall.

i tried but i am also unable to run it, it gives another message :"System restore does not apper to be functioning correctly on this system A volue Shadow Copy service component encoutered unexpected error (0x80042302)". And i forgot to write that my control panel is still crashing down.
I was thinking if it couldn't be some virus or something. I have antivirus but you never know ....

I believe that in your case, a clean install is going to be the only option... I know that this is not what you want to hear...
