    Had bsod 3x in 20 mins, help


    Hi before it quickly shuts shop again here is message somebody plesase help

    That is the general gist of it does anybody here have a clue, hardware, regestry,sotware are the three i can narrow it down to. I,ve just managed a restore so fingers crossed it aint hardware related. It done it for the first time 30 mins ago and has done it 3 times???????

    Well, you say in your specs your motherboard is Acer. Could you post your laptop model no.?

    Does memory diagnostics (selection at boot , press F8) give any memory errors?

    Seems ok at the minute, system restore completed successfully. I think it had something to do with vlite and norton gaming edition clashing. After I went to try vlite out for something it said something about itself and norton conflicting and that I would get bsod and even though i never installed i hope that it was that. I've restored to before I even downloaded it so.......................................

    ok then... try entering your BIOS and search for sata/raid settings.
    If you have any, set it to AHCI instead of RAID and see what happens.

    Edit: I just saw you had it fixed already. Glad you've worked it out.
