Windows 7 64x ultimate boot problem

Hi guys .. so I guess this is like the 301031 thread for this kind of problem but here goes nothing .. when i got my pc (notebook) i had a boot problem just when its about to load the windows screen the logo doesn't show up and switches to a screen "loading windows files" after that it transfers me to the the repair menu (system restore , image restore. command prompt etc) when it finishes the so called repair..nothings changed..I looked around in the options menu..and it says that my windows is in D:Local disk.. when it actually is in C .. so i restarted and pressed F8 and chose last known good cong. and everything was ok for a few weeks.. and now i have the same problem agains except the last known good conf. boot up doesnt work...it transfers me again to the blue repair screen..totaly useless ... is there any way in the bios or command prompt that i can change to look for the windows folder in C instead of D.. :\

Hello, Welcome to the forums! Apologies for the late response, better late than never!

Have you tried a Startup Repair? Remember, you may have to run it as many as 3 times.

If startup repair does not work, I recommend you backup your data and do a clean install. Since you can not boot to your Windows install, you may want to download a copy of Ubuntu and use that to copy your data (if needed).
