    AMD External Event service


    try truning off AMD External Event service as I mentioned earlier it may be something that's loading at startup since you said the problem stopped in safe mode

    can you post a screenshot of the event viewer showing the errors that would be helpful

    Also you never answered what brought this on did you just install 7 and have this problem or what....need to know what happened prior to this starting

    Sorry bout that, No I had the computer running for 7 days with Windows 7 and no errors.

    I posted the screenshots.

    How do I disable the AMD software?

    you can go to msconfig and service tab check the box next to hide all MS services and you will see whats left uncheck all that do the same thing on the startup tab as well and try that I will look at the screen shots also

    Try This


    Ok try this:


    1. Go to the BIOS
    2. Go to Advanced Chipset Features
    3. Go to CPU Configuration
    4. Select C1E Enhanced Halt State and set it to Disabled
    5. save the changes and exit bios
