    Solved~Windows Explorer Crashes/Bad Transfer Speeds

Ok So I have been useing Windows 7 For A While, But Since I got My Western Digital 1TB My Book Essentials , Windows Explorer Crashes When I Right Click, Delete or Double Click Windows Explorer Crashes. I have run sfv /Scannow (attached a Snip), but there are no problems
My friend keeps on telling me to add an expectation in DEP. Also I have been trying to format my external drive but windows Explorer Crashes. I have been trying to Move the contents of the drive to my desktop but the speed is 4kb a second (the drive benchmarked in HD Tool says 40mb a second).

    Any help will help alot!

    PS. I am running Build 7600 of Windows 7 Ultimate x86 (x32)
    Attachment 44928

    Thanks in advance

    See if this helps
Explorer Crashes Short While After Accessing 1Tb External Hard Drive - Tech Support Forum

Also check your drivers and update all from the manufacturers website, not windows update. (I'd start with anything that the drive uses, HD, USB, SATA etc) Good luck!

It's interesting, it really should work as NTFS; but anything is worth a try. Let me know how you go.
