Sys crashed and now I have 8 mini windows on my laptop

all I have is the recovery CD that came with the lappy, no actual Win Vista CD...have the Vista product reg on bottom of pc...any suggestions on how to proceed with the re-install?

Use the Recovery DVD's to reinstall Vista.

Thanks for all the help, vista wont install even with a fresh one, it gets hung up on the updates.

Took it to a local pc place today, they said it was a hardware issue. Called Asus, I knew more than the tech did and got the run around from them as well. They wouldnt even quote me a price for a diagnostic, just send it to them and they will call me with a price...that sounds really shady to me.

Anyone know where I can get motherboard and graphics for this pc? Looked on the internet, but am clueless as to even where to start.
