    Wierd crashing (not BSOD)

Hi, ever since I built my PC and installed Windows 7 32 bit it has been crashing about once or twice a day. When it crashes the sound cuts out and the screen goes the same colour as the Window colour. So with the default theme the screen would be completely blue, now I have changed my window colour to red so the screen turns completely red.

    Here's an example:
    Attachment 46151

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Power Supply

if this is your power supply the +12 volt rail amperage is much to low for that video card try to have about 40 amps on the +12 volt rail for your system a single +12 rail type power supply would be best with the multi rail designs it does not combine the amperage from the multiple rails

    get yourself something like this

Thanks for the reply, I wondered about the PSU but between the choice of my older 550 watt thermaltake or the cheap 750watt that came with the case I though im better of with the thermaltake.

So you think if I purchase a better PSU it will fix the crashing?
