Alright, I formatted the hard drive, and installed windows 7 32bit. Ran memtest overnight for 11 passes, and no errors. So I know the ram is good. Booted it up, and everything worked fine. I installed the 10 new updates, and avg free, and tried to restart. Low and behold... errors. Same as always, screen went BSOD for a second, then dead. Here's the minidump. If someone could look at this for me, I would be stoked. Thanks.

Got rid of AVG Free. Computer immediately crashed on the next boot. I attached the minidump. I also got a bad pool caller BSOD. The computer will only boot up if I run in safe mode. I am thinking I should either 1.completely reformat my hard drive, and try a clean install of 7, or
2.Install either XP or Vista, and see what happens. What do you think I should do? Thanks. |

None events appeared to be flagged. I reinstalled clean, and updated, and installed Avira. Now it is crashing again like it always does. Here are the events.

This is a real deal MS iso. MS has a deal with my school, and we get almost all MS software for free, as long as we are in school. I honestly don't know what to do next. For probably the 10th time, I have reformatted my harddrive and reinstalled windows 7. This time I installed the windows updates, Avira antivirus, and solidworks, with no problems. I backed-up, and now when I boot, I get bad_pool_caller, or some other BSOD. Should I try win xp, or vista? Or is this most likely a hardware problem?
computersplus, thanks for all the help you have been giving me. I would be nowhere without it. |
