    hello,

    sorry dont know where to quite put this post.. my question is... is there a way to find out if your processor needs to be replaced. To be alittle more specific i have been having all kinds of locking up both internet browsing and gaming. i now have installed the 64 bit version of home premium. when i push a key and watch the cpu performance monitor it sky rockets to 54% cpu usage.

    I already have another post running on my gaming lock up issue and what not. thanks.

This is a 64 bit processor in unit, repeat only a 64 bit , not a 32/64 only a 64 chip. tried to load windowsXp 32 bit operating system, loaded but several functions did not work. tried twice I assume this can't be done ?? correct? Loaded windows 7 64bit works like a charm.
I want to know which Processor is better and why? 1.) (Dual Core) Intel® Core™ i7-620M 2.66GHz (3.33Ghz Turbo Mode, 4M cache) OR 2.) (Quad Core) Intel Core i7 820QM 1.73GHz (3.06GHz Turbo Mode, 8MB Cache) And im mostly using this computer for gaming, So which one do you Recommend?
