    Black screen of death

I doubt anyone will be able to fix this because not a lot is known about it. Here is what causes my black screen of death:
Ever since doing a new install of Windows 7 after reformatting my hard drive I can't run all the programs I used to.

Before the reformat, I had a custom start orb, icons, visual themes with the help of uxstyle, rocketdock and rainmeter. As well as a few apps I use on a regular such as Display Fusion Pro, Auslogics Disk Defrag and Reg Clean, Windows 7 Manager 1.1.7, utorrent and ESET NOD32.

Now when I install all of my old apps that used to work fine on my new install I get the black screen of death. It only ever happens after I've finished configuring the way I like it. I don't bother with backup images anymore because all of the ones I make fail to load for some reason or there is some error within the disk.

If it's any extra help, I have 2 monitors. I put everything on my monitor on the right, taskbar, rainmeter, rocketdock and make display fusion put a second taskbar on the left.

Click system specs for system specs
    Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't know what a black screen of death is, here is what happens:
    Windows boots
    Login
Black Screen for a few seconds, input does not work except moving mouse
    Automatically logged out

    Every single time

My current solution is to install just what I need to get by, NOD32, multimedia, games, firefox, maintenance and IM.

But as you can see from my post here: https://www.sevenforums.com/customiza...tml#post486261

Not customizing, hurts me greatly. So any sort of help would be appreciated.

There's no much that can be done about Black Screen of Death errors, but the web abounds with suggestions to try.

I usually try System Restore to a period before it happened, if that doesn't work I just do a backup and reinstall Windows.

There's 2 things that concern me about your system:
    - that your images don't work
    - that you customize so much

To check the hardware on your system, please run these diagnostic tests:
    H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Malware (read the details at the link)
If they pass, then you'll have to resort to:
    - a clean install of Windows
    - ensuring that System Restore is turned on
    - making a Restore Point before each customization is made.
    - then, when the Black Screen occurs - use System Restore to go back in steps - until you reach a point where you don't get it any more. In Win7 you can view the changes that it'll make - and this should give you some info about why it happens (most often it's something that's installed last that affects an earlier installation - so both have to be "fixed").

Do not use Registry Cleaners - they are of no practical use (IMO), and they will damage your system after repeated use.
