Well those drivers are not listed. After installing all the drivers for Windows 7 my laptop has been freaking out and has been experiencing frequent crashes randomly. The problem is ntoskrnl.exe, I'm not sure how to fix this issue though.

the ntoskrnl is a symptom not a cause

maybe disable the soft modem and not sure what we can do with TVALZ_O.SYS the TOSHIBA ACPI-Based General Purpose Device as the latest driver is listed as 2007

The past few times my laptop has received BSOD's the mini-dumps have all said ntoskrnl.exe but each time the amount of errors has decreased but ntoskrnl.exe is always displayed in the mini-dumps. How can I reverse/fix the ntoskrnl.exe problem with my computer?

Here is the last mini-dump I received which was about 24 hours ago:

you cannot fix the ntoskrnl.exe crash , this is a symptom of a hardware crash but it is not the cause

your latest minidump shows memory corruption as the cause
these drivers are old and still need replacing
    TVALZ_O.SYS fffff880`01485000 fffff880`01489e80 0x00004e80 0x4733cf39 09/11/2007 03:08:41
    tos_sps64.sys fffff880`01859000 fffff880`018d8000 0x0007f000 0x473bd55a 15/11/2007 05:12:58
    agrsm64.sys fffff880`050cc000 fffff120`051ee000 0xfffff8a000122000 0x49184ccf 10/11/2008 15:01:35
    atikmdag.sys fffff880`04836000 0f0f078f`04eea000 0x0f0f0f0f006b4000 0x49345149 01/12/2008 21:04:09
I did list the source of the drivers here
    • TVALZ_O.SYS is a TOSHIBA ACPI-Based General Purpose Device Driver
agrsm64.sys is related to Agere Systems Soft Modem ??
atikmdag.sys is your ATI Radeon Kernel mode driver

you need to track down these devices and pursue toshiba for newer versions or find a way to disable them to eliminate them as a cause of your crash ?

Is this laptop under warranty ?

If not then you need to take it to a technician or attempt to clean it yourself ?

you need to removed the ram and clean the slots then reseat and also blow out all the dust from any vents around the base of the laptop ?

The crashes you are getting are being caused either by the ACPI driver or the bios isn't set correctly or the bios needs updating ?
Or your ram is unseated and not contacting properly ?
Or your graphics card is unseated or damaged ?
you need to disable the modem to stop it's driver loading and eliminate it as a cause ?

It is always difficult to diagnose a fault from a distance and if you cannot find a way to implement these suggestions then you need to take it to a technician , it may even be something simple that hasn't been thought of yet, but I am confident this is a hardware crash which means you have one or more components which will need physical inspection or replacement ?

I've decided I'm done dealing with all of these countless problems and I'm going to re-install my Vista Home Premium 32-bit my laptop came with. Ever since I put Windows 7 on back when it was released I've had problem after problem. So heres to Microsoft royally destroying my computer with another version of their crappy software!

I think you will find it's lack of support with new drivers from your laptop maker
